SANT MARTÍ D'EMPÚRIES
An old mediaeval village, it was the first Greek settlement on the peninsula 2,500 years ago. You can visit the Greek and Roman ruins at the Archaeological Museum of Empúries. There are also well-equipped beaches and a fantastic rural surrounding, typical of the Empordà. The walled village respects the original architecture with its stone houses and is closed to traffic.

A LONG BEACH
The beach runs from Ampuriabrava to Sant Martí. The beaches are well equipped and highly suitable for relaxing or enjoying sports such as windsurfing or kite surfing. Along the footpath that leads from Sant Martí to L'Escala, there are many small, charming bays. We should also mention the old original quay of the Greek port.
